MEXICO CITY, June 7, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. ("Aeromexico") reports its May 2023 operational results:

  • Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million and 990 thousand passengers in May 2023, a 5.6% year-on-year increase. International passengers carried decreased by 1.0%, while domestic passengers increased by 8.3%.
  • Aeromexico's total capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASKs), increased by 4.8% year-on-year. International ASKs increased by 5.6% while domestic capacity increased by 3.5% year-on-year.
  • Demand, measured in passenger-kilometers (RPKs), increased by 7.0% year-on-year. International demand increased by 8.5% as compared to May 2022. Domestic demand increased by 4.4% versus May 2022.
  • Aeromexico's May 2023 load factor was 83.9%, a 1.1 p.p. increase versus May 2022. International load factor increased by 1.4 p.p. and domestic load factor increased by 0.7 p.p.
